Voices for SEND Support Network is proud to be working in partnership with Step Up Hub to deliver an important new community-led project, funded through the I AM Brent Community Microgrants โ€“ Round 1.

Project Title:

Empowering BAME Youth with SEND Backgrounds to Prevent Criminal Justice Involvement in Brent

This project is part of the Preventing Criminal Justice Involvement theme and focuses on early, culturally responsive support for young people in Brent, particularly in Harlesden.

Through a culturally tailored youth workshop, we aim to empower Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) young people with SEND backgrounds to build confidence, resilience, and positive life choices โ€” helping them stay safe, informed, and supported within their communities.
